The changelog for this release has several improvements:
- This release has some introductory code in Admin for embedding searchable folder fields (custom fields) directly into an Account details page. This feature will be expanded upon in future releases.
- Leads are now indexed for greater performance, this is similar to how Contacts and Accounts work now
- Added an API service to add contacts to an existing active campaign to use for auto-responses by third-party applications (addContactToActiveCampaign)
- Added API service to add a contact type to an existing contact (addTypeToContact)
- Added API object to retrieve Contact Type values, useful for obtaining the typeId for a given named type
- New feature to archive newsletters to ConcourseConnect when the integration is enabled; this is a great way to archive your emailed newsletters for online viewing
- Leads search now defaults to showing a list of leads instead of retrieving one lead (which is now the secondary option)
- Condensed the view of the account and contact details page when those records do not have phone numbers, email addresses, etc.
There are also some fixes:
- Fixed the HTML source when injecting the Unsubscribe link in a campaign
- PDF text extraction failed when indexing documents due to a missing library
- Fixed a view usage error when viewing the usage in the Admin module
- Fixed a calendar error when activities were linked to a contact
- Fixed a task error when viewing tasks
- An Email phase could not be added to an existing campaign
- API was showing deleted and unapproved contact records in queries
- The API Tools didn't clear the transactions on a commit() exception
The upgrade process for systems already using version 6.1 involves making sure there is a backup of the database and fileLibrary, then installing the 6.1 web application archive directly over the previous install. The application will upgrade any components. Admins will need to re-index the disk index for complete searching.
