Background & History
ConcourseSuite CRM has been in existence since 2000. The first open source release was around 2003. In October 2007, the product officially became known as ConcourseSuite and it was formerly called Centric CRM. 2007 also marked the end of supporting over 10 databases with ConcourseSuite. Officially, ConcourseSuite uses the PostgreSQL database server and is distributed publicly in binary form only. ConcourseSuite 6.0 was released April 2010 and since then ConcourseSuite has been routinely improved. As of 2012 ConcourseSuite uses Apache Lucene for instantaneous searches.
