- Connect should allow signed-in users to chat in real-time
At present, Connect displays a green button next to a user if that user is currently signed into it and doesn't allow chatting with that user in real-time. Connect can increase the value of adding other users as "Friends" by allowing a user to chat with other "Friends" in real-time. The chat interface can be a simple one as it is in Facebook. I think OpenMeetings module is too resource & feature heavy for simple exchange of messages in real-time with other users.
