- Have a tab dedicated to disseminate information in an organized fashion with page navigation and mixture of content types
Connect needs an effective way to display content in a rich fashion. For example, a university environment is characterized by numerous courses. Courses generally involve huge content. If the course is an online one, then the course material can be a mixture of static content (text, slides, video, audio) and tests. For example, at the end of chapter 1, there may be a test for the student to assess herself. The course content pages need to be displayed with "Prev" & "Next" buttons.
At present, Wiki should be used to implement such a facility in Connect. However, a wiki, by definition is open to editing by all the members of a profile. A dedicated content tab in a profile with content contribution reserved only for the faculty (Manager) along with page navigation and an ability to display wide-variety of content in an organized fashion, is probably a requirement.
