Can workshops help build awareness, interest and demand for social business collaboration tools?

While most everyone is aware of the tremendous growth and adoption of social media tools in various platforms, it is surprising that most don't think about how that can improve performance on key metrics and internal processes within their organizations...
Given the enormous expense of traditional marketing and publishing tools, education of a large market on a new phenomenon can take a while. So, our efforts to find partners who can help get the word out and begin to build serious interest in the business benefits of Enterprise 2.0 approaches is an important, effective and cost-efficient way for doing that. Wish us good luck with our partnership and workshops we are tentatively planning to do with Inside Business here in Hampton Roads. If we can make it work here then we can expand it to other markets with similar business media partners....
