A truly useful resource for learning the discipline of community management

To build, grow and maintain communities takes dedication and discipline.
One such organization which provides resources is The Community Roundtable. The organization has released its 2012 State of Community Management report where they lay out the artifacts, organizational patterns, initiatives, and resources they see organizations use as they move from what they call "those wobbly early days" to a structured and methodical approach to real impact and then finally, to transformative business changes.
While the report doesn't layout a specific one-size-fits-all approach, it does a commendable job of describing the stages of social business and the artifacts that you'll likely come across.
