Based on the needs of my business, I wish to customize the 5 seat free suite and extend it on my local host. This would include disabling some of the modules that I might not need, modifying various wordings and statements,names of departments etc. I have tried to go through the various files but I can't find the source code relating to each of the pages: the code that I find is already pre-compiled into classes.
How do I go about this customization process?

Yes, you'll want the source code for making changes, improvements and integration. With a paid commercial license you get the complete source code and updates for a year.
