Hello,
I'm evaluating CentricCRM for our Web design company, and I have a few
questions about projects. I think we'd use projects to manage
creating new Web sites, and we would use an outline that said
something like "Design site, register domain, code site, test site,
customer approval, get billing information, etc...".
First, is there a way to create a template plan outline, instead of
having to enter the same 8 steps for every Web site?
Second, is there a way to express dependencies? For example, testing
can't happen until after coding, and coding until after design;
customer approval has to wait for all of those steps to finish, while
setting up billing and the domain can happen concurrently. I'd like the HTML
coding person to be notified when them design is done, the customer
approval person to be notified when everything is done, etc.
Third, is there a way to tie a Project to an Account? We'd like to be
able to quickly jump to a project from an incoming call from a
customer requesting a status update, and also let them see the
progress of their Web site from their portal page.
Thanks!
