I have installed CentricCRM 4.11 on FreeBSD 6.2 using Tomcat 5.5. When I launch Centric for the first time, on the registration screen (after selecting new registration), I enter my information and then submit it to get my license; I get the following error:
Connection could not be made... Check your internet connection: nullWEB-INF/init/zlib2.jar (No such file or directory)
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Is your server connected to internet?
Try pinging google from command prompt to ensure it has access to the internet.

You should make sure you have the correct JAVA installed, see excerpt from install guide:
1.) Download and install the Java JRE or JDK 5.0 from http://www.java.com ; gcc-java does not work and is bundled with some Linux distributions so this must be renamed or removed
On the page were the error is produced pay attention to JAVA version.
