You can create Leads with contacts and opportunities linked against them plus Activities etc. When you now want to convert them into an Account, how do you do it? Can't see how. Obviously re-entering Accounts, Activities, Contacts and Opps is far from ideal. Is there a way to do it automatically that avoids re-keying data and also retains the enter lifecyle history (Activity history for example) under the new Account?

If you "modify" an existing contact from the Contacts module it asks you if you want to associate it with an Account. This will then make it a contact of an Account. And the activities and opportunities will follow to the Account. Today the Account must be set up first (so it can be associated). We wil be changing this flow to make it possible to do it in few steps (i.e. execute it soley from the contact record)
