Description

When installing from source (tomcat-6.0.13, PostgreSQL 8.1.9 under ubuntu), the "ant installdb" step fails with message:

/home/suarez/Proyectos/Centric CRM 4.1/branch-41/build.xml:1434: Class Not Found: JDBC driver could not be loaded

Strange because it fails after the creation of three tables.

Matt Rajkowski 7/5/2007, 2:04 PM That is strange... which driver and which locale setting are you using? from build.properties
Matt Rajkowski 7/5/2007, 2:05 PM [ Priority changed from unassigned to Scheduled ]
Alex Vivas 7/5/2007, 2:15 PM Driver: postgresql-8.1-405.jdbc3.jar (included with Centric CRM distribution)
Locale: es_ve
Alex Vivas 7/5/2007, 2:39 PM I assigned values to these properties an could continue a little bit more.

#SITE.DBTYPE=postgresql
#SITE.DRIVER=org.postgresql.Driver
#SITE.URL=jdbc:postgresql://127.0.0.1:5432/
#SITE.USER=postgres
#SITE.PASSWORD=

Now, after some 300 tables created I have the message:

Typed variable declaration : Attempt to resolve method: getNextSeq() on undefined variable or class name: DatabaseUtils : at Line: 15 : in file: Centric CRM 4.1/branch-41/src/sql/init/database.bsh : DatabaseUtils .getNextSeq ( db , "access_user_id_seq" )
