Hello,

I couldnt use liferea (http://liferea.sourceforge.net/) feed reader with RSS feeds. It receives closed connection state from start of authentication and tries to authenticate with another session which gets timeout. Ive already opened bug there https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1736409&group_id=87005&atid=581684
Maybe you could point us where can be the problem? Could it be because of cookies-based authentication?

To personalize the feeds, digest-authentication is being used.

Here's some additional details:
application/xml; charset=UTF-8
rss_2.0

The client needs to respond with the authorization parameters expected by a digest-authentication web app. Sorry, I don't know much more, but I am interested in the RSS compatibility and how this can be resolved -- either by Centric Team Elements implementation or Liferea client.
