Is it possible to create some project categories, then make the project categories drop-down a required option for new projects?
If not, I would suggest this should be a checkbox option (Required: Y/N) under System Admin > Manage App Settings > Categories.
No way to make them required yet. Good suggestion though, I think for any type of configurable drop-down list it would be nice to have a "required" checkbox to go along with the editor... adds some flexibility and control to the process.
Not a high priority, but any feature listed in the forums is fair game for inclusion.
