Just curious.. is it possible to use Borland JBuilder 2005 to customize/compile Centric CRM? if not what IDE would be appropriate?
I am considering working on Data Transfer module from ACT to Centric - do you know if anyone working on it currently?

We've never tried using JBuilder that I know of. Our personal preference here is JEdit. We tend not to use full blown IDEs. I suppose there is no reason you couldn't use JBuilder, but we can't provide any guidance.
Depending on what you want to do with Act, we may already have something for you. If you want realtime, bidirectional transfer for two live systems (why?) we don't have anything today. If you just want to get info out of Act into Centric, we have an importer that will do all but very complex things. There are Import buttons in Accounts and Contacts that allow pretty great flexibility in importing csv files exported from other applications. Should work great for Act, unless you're trying to import something other than Contact information.
