One of my clients applications uses extensive use of dynamic PDF generation for reports and tickets. The primary help-desk issue is with PDFs not displaying in MSIE or crashing MSIE. We have determined many of these issues are due to other BHOs or a corrupt Adobe BHO and running SpybotS&D seems to fix these issues 99.9% of the time.
One primary issue with this , though, is that many of the folks running this application (military recruiters) are in a very restrictive environment and normally do not have local admin privs for their box. This makes downloading and installing unapproved software almost impossible.
Have your developers run into this issue yet and if so - has it been addressed. Get Firefox is not an option :-), although - that works every time.
