Hey all,
I know this is going to make some people clench their teeth... but I really need to do this.
I'm going to be building a new server (Ubuntu 6.06LTS) and will need to import my existing CentricCRM database to the latest stable version. As the subject says, my current version is 2.9 test 3. I'd like to know what I'm going to be up against by importing my DB to the latest version. Like I said, this is most likely going to be a brand new OS install on a new server, so we don't have to worry about existing stuff.
One of the only reasons I want to upgrade is that whenever I re-start Tomcat, I have to re-configure everything (setup screen, configure database connection, etc.). More importantly, recently when I did this my "tabs" for HelpDesk tickets have dissapeared. Sometimes re-starting everything fixes this, but now it seems to be 'stuck'. Anyway, I just want to get the latest stable version so I can get off of this ancient version and be rockin'.
Any useful information, tips, anything at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
Sincerely,
Jordan
