I have setup ConcursiveConnect and all is great. I have been testing user registration and emails do not seem to be being delivered. I have been checking the mail logs with no errors there. Are mails sent using Postfix or sendmail?

ConcourseConnect doesn't include its own mail server.
When you setup ConcourseConnect, the setup process asks for your mail server. You need to specify a mail server that you are allowed to use for sending outbound email. It's not asking you for a mail account.
